Approximate Acreage: 1750 Acres of Mature Timber: 300 Location: Augusta, Arkansas

Bordering the main block of woods to the south from White Oaks, White Oaks Duck Woods South Farm is jointly managed and operated in harmony with White Oaks Duck Woods. With its 600 acres of fields (500 acres of which are flooded each fall), the South Farm provides the necessary acreage needed to plant large amounts of duck food and create significant rest areas. This is a farm that holds tens of thousands of ducks, consistently throughout season. With Taylor Bay forming the eastern border, the White River forming both the western and southern borders and White Oaks Duck Woods forming the northern border, this farm is very secluded and private, creating the ideal setting to attract and hold huge volumes of wintering waterfowl. White Oaks Duck Woods South Farm has 1000 acres of floodable property in total that includes almost 200 acres of mature timber, willow breaks, sloughs, buck brush flats, a killer cypress break lake and of course several vast fields. As a result, the hunting on the south farm is diverse and remarkably consistent.

Improvements at White Oaks Duck Woods South Farm include a gorgeous 4000 sf 5 bedroom lodge that comfortably sleeps 22. Completed in November of 2018, the lodge sits atop a knoll overlooking a beautiful rest area field which typically holds thousand of ducks. From the spacious back deck and/or large second floor balcony, one can sit in front of a warm fire while enjoying sweeping views of Taylor Bay, several ancient giant cypress trees, a huge actively inhabited eagles nest and one of the largest rest areas on the farm. It is common to sit on the deck in fall and observe thousands upon thousands of ducks circling and piling in the rest area, deer browsing along the edges and eagles soaring above or sitting atop the giant trees picking out a meal below.

As beautiful as the lodge may be, the most stunning structure is the famed Tower at White Oaks. Surrounded in every direction by ideal waterfowl habitat, the "Tower" sits on the border between the South Farm and the rest area on the west side of White Oaks Duck Woods, offering unparalleled views of both farms. The Tower is a magnificent 50' steel structure with a 25' square platform at the top. Inside the cab of the tower are outrageous amenities for a duck observation platform, including a full service bar, satellite TV, couches chairs and a heater for those cold winter afternoons. Often dinner or appetizers are cooked in the afternoon while guests enjoy the stunning show of thousands of ducks pouring into the fields. A few special nights every season, we also have live concerts in the tower at sundown. There is simply no better way to observe ducks, deer and nature in all her stunning glory.
